FTB IE locks up before getting to minecraft screen

Details of Problem: Trying to launch FTB IE through the curse client. FTB IE, Sky Factory, and IE Skyblock all seem to have the same problem. Seems to lock up frequently when it tries to load decocraft, but sometimes loads beyond that before not responding. Tried several other modpacks and they worked. I have tried changing the version on java, reinstalling and deleting all versions of minecraft, and letting it run to see if it was just a first time launch problem.
